There’s always next time, right? A grandfather’s attempt to reconnect with his family results in disappointment. Captured with a sense of loss and nostalgia, “Next Time” is an understated, richly shot slice-of-life short focused on life’s little ironies.

In 2014 I was awarded a Film London Award to direct my first short film entitled: Next Time.

I was very lucky to be able to work with Junix Inocian before his sudden passing in June of 2015. He was a kind, generous, and talented spirit.

The film also stars Paul Courtenay Hyu, Ella Serrano, and Meg Kubota.

The film had an initial screening with Film London at the BFI and we are in the process of preparing it for submission to festivals.
